Garrison Smith understands he needs to lead. Especially on the defensive line, he understands he is the only lineman that has experience, and he has to "lead by example" and show the young guys "how to do it the right way."
He is excited for the Clemson and South Carolina games at the beginning of the season.
"We're gonna have to bring our 'A' game, said Smith."
Smith was asked about the young defense and doesn't think there will be any drop off because the guys are "hungry" and "have something to prove."
"The sky is the limit for how good we can be."
On the South Carolina game, "Its just critical...its important for us to compete to the best of our abilities and... all about executing and following our coaches' game plans."
The Senior defensive end hopes to lead this season's defense, that lost 8 defensive starters, to a championship caliber season in 2013.
