Jarvis Jones, a 6-2. 242 pound LB, first signed with USC in 2009, but he suffered a neck injury and was not cleared to play by the USC doctors. Bad Mistake to say the least. The Columbus, GA Native came home and transfered to Georgia in 2010 and sat out according to NCAA FBS Transfer rules. In 2011, he hit the ground running as he had 69 tackles and 9.5 sacks becoming an All-American in his first year in the rugged SEC.
In 2012, he had an even better season with 85 tackles, 14.5 sacks (A UGA Record), 1 interception, and 7 Forced Fumbles. He was again an All American LB. He would take over a game as he did many times in his career. He was truly great and the most talented LB UGA has ever had. He did against very tough teams with great offensive lines. He played in the SEC, do I need say more? He will be missed especially by me. Good Luck. on Sundays, All the Best.
